Are your cars still available?
If a vehicle is advertised on our website or Auto Trader, it is usually still available. Due to high demand, some vehicles may sell quickly, so please contact us to confirm availability before travelling.
Why are some of your cars imported from Japan?
Many of our vehicles are sourced directly from Japan because they are often better maintained, have lower mileage, higher specifications, and are generally in excellent condition. All vehicles are inspected before sale.
Why does the vehicle only have one MOT?
Imported vehicles are newly registered in the UK, so they may only show one MOT record. However, our vehicles usually come with service history and/or inspection reports from Japan
Is insurance expensive on imported vehicles?
No. Insurance on Japanese imports is often similar to, and sometimes cheaper than, equivalent UK models. Most major UK insurers provide cover without any issues. Previous customers have had success with a huge range of companies and price comparisons websites.
My insurance company can’t find the registration number. What should I do?
Recently registered vehicles can take some time to appear on insurance databases. You can usually proceed by manually entering the vehicle details and selecting the correct make and model. The vehicle is fully registered with the DVLA and can be verified through a DVLA vehicle check.
Do imported cars have higher maintenance costs?
No. Most parts are identical to UK-market vehicles and are readily available through major suppliers and dealerships. We have no difficulty sourcing parts when servicing our vehicles.
Are your vehicles HPI clear?
Yes - unless stated otherwise. All vehicles undergo comprehensive history checks and are HPI clear. We verify mileage records, ownership history and accident history before offering any vehicle for sale.
Do your vehicles have service history?
Yes. Most vehicles come with documented service history, including main dealer and specialist maintenance records where available.
How many previous owners have your vehicles had?
Most of our vehicles have had only one or two previous owners. As an imported vehicle, you will often be the first UK owner.
Do your vehicles come with parking sensors or reversing cameras?
Vehicle specifications vary. Many of our vehicles feature parking sensors, and we also offerApple CarPlay upgrades with reversing camera integration on selected vehicles. Please enquire with us directly for the exact specification and features.
What warranty is included?
All eligible vehicles include a warranty provided by Autoguard Warranties, one of the UK’s leading aftermarket warranty providers.
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty provides extensive mechanical and electrical component cover. Full details can be found on the Autoguard website
Can I have an independent inspection carried out?
Yes. We welcome independent inspections. We also work closely with the AA Vehicle Inspections service. Independent inspections are arranged and paid for by the customer.
I live far away. Can I still buy a vehicle?
Absolutely. We can arrange a live video viewing or a recorded video for you so you can inspect the vehicle remotely. If you’re happy with the vehicle, a deposit can be placed to reserve it while arrangements are finalised.
Can you confirm specific mechanical work has been completed?
For detailed questions regarding timing belts, chains, servicing or other mechanical work, please contact us directly. We will verify the information and provide confirmation where available.
